Line plot comparisons of Model and observed past climate change and
future climate predictions can be displayed from this web page.
Multiple spatial domains, multiple additive decades, multiple
additive months, multiple additive Model simulations, and multiple
additive observations produce separate lines. Only the first eight
lines are generated.
For annual data, months are ignored.
For seasonal data, seasons are designated by checking the center
month. Multiple seasons may not overlap.
Transient observations are available from the 1950s through the
1990s. Climatological observations ignore decade requests.
If any climatological observation is checked, then subtractive
decades, subtractive Model simulations, subtractive Model climate
variables, and subtractive transient observations are ignored.
If any transient observation is checked, then subtractive Model
simulations and subtractive Model climate variables are ignored.
If subtractive transient observations are checked, then additive
decades are curtailed to be within the range of the observations.
If JavaScripts are enabled by your browser, the status line will
provide more information about climate variables or observations
when the mouse pointer is over one of these quantities or the
checkboxes on either side.
Be aware that some observations are defined only over limited
spatial domains. Consequently, different lines in a LinePlot may
be averaging their data over different spatial domains.
