CLDH: High cloud cover (%) or percentage of time that there is a level in layers 7, 8 or 9 such that the cloud optical depth above this level is equal to 1. CLDL: Low cloud cover (%) or percentage of time that there is a level in layers 1, 2, 3 or 4 such that the cloud optical depth above this level is equal to 1. CLDT: Total cloud cover (%) or percentage of time that the Model's total cloud optical depth is at least 1. CLDOD: Vertically integrated cloud optical depth. EPRE: Energy of precipitation (W/mē) or latent energy of snow calculated as: - [latent energy of melting (J/kg)]*[snow fall rate (kg/s*mē)]. In future simulations, the sensible heat of the condensate will be included into EPRE. EVAP: Composite evaporation (mm/day) or area weighted evaporation from each surface type.
